Ah, fruits and veggies….we love ‘em! Especially the local and organic varieties. We are passionate about carrying a wide array of pesticide free and locally grown produce. We carry conventional items as well as seasonal exotic items. You can also find a great selection of vegan and vegetarian fare that tastes great and is good for you!
Your Everyday Farmer's Market
Local, fresh produce is everywhere at the Co-op. Here's a list of what you can enjoy from our farmers:
July: Broccoli, cabbage, summer squash, sweet corn, tomatoes, watermelon, lettuce, red and white potatoes
August: Peaches, pears, plums, cherries, sweet corn, tomatoes, potatoes, summer squash, cantaloupe
Always feel free to email or call the store to find out what we will be bringing in from our farmers each week.
Special Services in the Produce Department
• The Co-op also carries a lovely line of fresh flowers. Our flowers come from the same providers that florists use and we can guarantee the best prices around. And check out our fall corn husks and mums as well as shellacked gourds for the perfect fall decorating touch!
• Need a unique gift? Talk to our produce staff about special ordering a customized gift basket which includes fresh fruits and some of our finest grocery products. Our staff will top it off with a beautiful bow and a greeting card!
• Special occasion coming up? We also provide fruit and veggie trays that you can order in various sizes and varieties. Please contact our Produce Department, to place an order or find out more information about our fruit and veggie trays and bowls.
