A picnic isn't a real picnic without some wonderful cheese, but the hot weather can make picking the right cheese rather difficult. Here's a couple recommendations by our cheese expert, Amanda, as well as great sale info.
Danish Mini Brie: This is a classic picnic cheese! Perfect for two and a wonderful compliment to elegant crackers, fruit, or crusty bread. Now $3.99 ea
Nettle Meadow Cups: A delightful chevre that is light and fluffy. Great on green salad or a fruit salad. Three varieties--plain, garlic & olive oil, and honey & lavendar. Now $4.99 ea.
Soignon Goat Cups: Creamy, mild, and spreadable with a buttery texture. Perfect with our 34 degree crackers or some fresh baked bread from our bakery. Now $2.99 ea
St. Marcellin: Fruity, nutty, and earthy flavors. Spreadable and a great compliment to pears and apples, thin crackers or fresh bread. Now $4.99 ea.
Mt. Vikos Spreads: A wonderful topper for your cheese and cracker plate! Great as a veggie dip as well. Try all five flavors for just $4.99 ea.
New Product: Artisan Dail Saulumi. Locally made in Elkton, Maryland, at the Fair Hill Inn, Artisan Dail Saulumi contains organically raised pork from Whimsical Farms in Newark, Delaware, a mere five miles from the restaurant location! All meat is hand- ground and each saulumi is handcrafted and 100% hand-made. A truly exquisite product!
